The Lady Eagles played in the Hallsville Tournament, Saturday, December 14th, and went 1-2 for the tourney. It was a learning experience for the young ladies, but the starters acquitted themselves quite well and continued to hustle and be aggressive no matter whether the team was behind or winning. They played Hallsville pretty even from the start and only a bad third quarter was the difference between a win and a defeat. The second game against Whitehouse was a rout as the Eagles struggled with inbounding the ball and allowing the Wildcats too many second and third shots. Going forward, the Lady Eagles should continue to hustle and play good defense and make the most of their scoring opportunities and the bench needs to be more invested in the games as they struggled in all phases of all three games. In summary, as long as the Lady Eagles play as a TEAM and help and support one another, they will be successful going forward! Keep up the good work, young ladies!
