Monday, September 24-
This was a Teacher Workday- All we did was get prepared for the next six-weeks, and I got to play receptionist for a while this morning welcoming parents to Tatum Primary-
Tuesday, September 25-
Today the kids worked on the letter "K", and we did a worksheet on the letter.

Wednesday, September 26-
Today the students continued working on the letter "K" albeit in a more creative style, using Hershey Kisses and Kit-Kats-
Thursday, September 27-
Today we started on the letter "L"-
Friday, September 28!!!
Happy Birthday to Me!!
The students continued to work on the letter "L", using Leaves
Some were bored-
Others were thrilled
Then we went to the 2nd grade awards ceremony. Two of our students received awards for honor roll and perfect attendance. Aaliyah received an award for making the A&B honor roll for the 1st 6-weeks, and Aaliyah and Alijah both got perfect attendance awards!

Finally, at the end of the day, my class and my co-workers surprised me with a surprise birthday party- Yes, they got me good; I wasn't expecting it and I was definitely SURPRISED. We had birthday cake ice cream and it was definitely delicious! Thank you all very, very much!
