The 8th Grade Tatum Eagles won a tight one, 22-14, over the Center Roughnecks. The Eagles' touchdowns were scored by Alijah Williams, Dane Moore, and Gerrick Brooks. Moore was 4-4 passing for 98 yards and 1 TD. Brooks caught all 4 passes for 98 yards and the TD. Williams ran for 75 yards on 9 carries, Brooks had 62 yards rushing on 6 carries, and Thorn added 41 yards on 6 carries. The defense was led by Varella (6 tackles and a forced fumble), Brooks (4 tackles), and Marquez and Moore with 3 tckles apiece. Stanley had an interception, and Williams had a fumble recovery and an onside kick recovery which clinched the hard-fought game.
