The Tatum Eagles 8th Grade basketball team lost a hard-fought game to the Arp Tigers at home 48-41. Too many turnovers and #2 for Arp (32 of the team's 48 points) ultimately spelled doom for the Eagles. Toby scored 13 points, Alijah had 9 points and 9 rebounds, Jeremiah had 9, Zack had 6, and Mason and Brody added 2 apiece. The Eagles still finished as the district champions as this was their first and only defeat of the year. So although it ended somewhat disappointing, it was a successful year for the 8th Grade Eagles. Congratulations!
